Pet Stories

Quick; Tell me about your family pet. If you're like me, you instantly saw your beloved childhood pet, or maybe it is your current one that jumped to the forefront of your imagination. Perhaps it was a white cat named Snowball. Or maybe it was a dog named Rover (though hopefully you were more creative than that). Telling about your family dog, current or past reveals a lot about you and the dynamics of your family.

Asking about family pets is also a great way to get someone to talk. It's a safe subject, but one that is undoubtedly filled with emotion and use of the senses. Animals follow us through good times and bad, through triumphs and tragedies. For many, they are the thread that is woven thoughout our lives.

A simple open-ended question is all you need to get started.

"Can you tell me about your childhood pet?"

Hey Karen, What a neat question - as you say, it's safe. And I can answer it easily - Yes I can tell you about my childhood pet! =)

We only had cats when I was growing up...dogs were forbidden! The first cat I remember was Pokie, which was short for Popoki, which is Hawaiian for "little cat." Not sure if I spelled it right though. Fun to remember! ~Karen

That question can start a huge conversation that's difficult to end it's so much fun! I have a book to write about Jake, the naughtiest cat in the world.

Karen Fisher-Alaniz writes the story about the pet animals that is very useful for those who want to keep pet animals in their homes. In her point of view, pet animals help us for removing the loneliness feelings from my self. In this link http://www.onlinerewriter.biz/about-us/, you can write an article for this website.
